About me
Ivan Slovák
I’ve always been close to art. In primary school I was already drawing portraits of my teachers. I got into tattooing by chance, through a guy I met in a rehearsal room abroad. Today I run my own studio and my favourite styles are dotwork and whipshade.
Did that meeting change my life? Ha, probably yes. It inspired me to throw myself into tattooing completely.
Today I work in my own studio in the Dunajská Streda district and regularly do guest spots in studios abroad, where I meet new people and new ways of working.
I belong to the “old school” of tattooists, so I’ve tried many styles. I also enjoy traditional and colour work, and I always look for the balance between technique and clean execution.
